BRAVO growers have the flexibility to select the Marketer of their choice, as well as local market options. We have a strong relationship with leading industry exporters who have well-developed overseas markets.
GROWING ADVICE
BRAVO is committed to providing growers with a high level of individual grower service and technical information. BRAVO holds regular field days and discussion groups, BRAVO’s technical staff and guest speakers address growers in their specific areas of expertise.
PRE HARVEST SERVICES
BRAVO provides pre-harvest dry matter and maturity testing services prior to submission to an independent laboratory. This is carried out by BRAVO’s own laboratories situated in its Te Puke, Katikati and Glenbervie facilities.
POST HARVEST SERVICES
BRAVO has efficient and technologically advanced post-harvest avocado facilities. The water-blasting of fruit means BRAVO growers achieve the best possible Class 1 packouts and the marketplace’s lowest risk profile for market access restrictions.
PAYMENT SYSTEMS
BRAVO operates a unique and innovative crop flow program and grower payment system. Growers can participate in a BRAVO local market payment pool or chose to participate directly with their marketer.
SHARE IN THE PROFITS
BRAVO’s most significant point of difference is its ability to offer avocado growers a co-operative shareholding. All growers who pack export fruit with BRAVO are able to receive a share of the profits, derived from the company’s post harvest facilities, by purchasing transactor shares.
